I've never participated in the auction before. What do I do?
That's easy! Just Register and you will receive an email to confirm your account. Once you've confirmed your account and signed in, visit your Profile and you will see your Bidder/Seller Number. If you want to sell something at the auction, just follow the instructions below.
I've bought or sold at the auction before and I want to do that again.
You're in luck! We've migrated your information over to this new system, including your old Bidder/Seller Number. To retrieve your information, reset your password and then sign in. Once signed in, you can visit your Profile and see your Bidder/Seller Number and verify that your account information is correct.
I tried resetting my password but I didn't get an email to change it.
We're really sorry about that! Unfortunately, these things can happen when moving to a new system, especially if there was a typo in your information before, or if you never provided us with an email in the past. Just send us an email and we'll do our best to help you out.
Great, I'm in! Now how do I list lots for sale?
Just go to the Events page and see if the auction is open for submissions. If you see the current Hoopla listed there, you should see a button to "Submit Items". Click on that and you will be taken to the form to submit a lot for the auction. Fill out this form and submit it, and all you need to do after that is bring the lot to the Hoopla and we'll take care of the rest.
Remember that you are selling lots, not items, so when you fill out this form, it should be for everything in the whole lot, not just a single item. If you are selling a single item alone, that's fine, but if you are selling a group of things together, just make sure you only fill out the form once for that entire group.
How do I check out when the Silent Auction closes?
You'll enter through the back doors, give your seller/bidder number to our staff, gather your items, and then head out through the main doors to the Auction HQ, where you'll find our staff and volunteers ready to process your payment or pay out your sales total.
If you are using the Buy It Now option on an item(s), take the items to the Silent Auction Headquarters to process and pay.
